YOUNGSTERS were transported to infinity and beyond as part of a space camp organised by Science Oxford.
The free event at East Oxford Primary School offered the chance to learn about space through building, baking, investigating and exploring.
On Monday, Thomas Gosi and Amelie Beck made space rockets powered by Coca Cola and sweets, and found out about nappies astronauts wear in space.
Nine-year-old Thomas, front, said: “What I’ve made is supposed to be a support for a space rocket.”
Amelie, seven, said: “We put water and Marmite and apple juice into plastic cups so that it looked like wee. We tested if the astronauts were poorly and worked out which nappy was the best.”
