A CHAINSAW and a leaf blower were stolen in a string of linked South Oxfordshire burglaries.

Thames Valley Police said three burglaries took place in Goring between Wednesday, October 21, and Sunday, October 25.

The first, between 5pm on Friday and 10am on Saturday, saw burglars forced entry into an Elvendon Road property and steal a chainsaw.

The second also took place in Elvendon Road, between 6pm on Friday and 8.15pm on Sunday, when burglars broke in to an outbuilding and stole a leaf blower.

Between midnight on Wednesday and 11.50am on Sunday, burglars forced entry into an outbuilding of a property in Icknield Road, but nothing was taken.
