Rail passengers are being warned there is major disruption on the trains this morning due to signalling problems.
Chiltern Railways said a fault with the signalling system between Leamington Spa and Banbury has blocked the lines.
Trains cancelled from Oxford so far this morning include the 7.09am to Newcastle, the 7.16am to Bournemouth and the 7.38am to Manchester Piccadilly.
Both Chiltern Railways and CrossCountry services are affected, including services from Oxford Parkway to London Marylebone.
CrossCountry said the lines reopened at about 7.30am and services will now start to run again as planned.
