Ambulances were called to the scene at the roundabout by the Thornhill park and ride near London Road at 17.16pm.

A spokesperson for South Central Ambulance Service said the woman sustained head and arm injuries but that her condition was not serious.

She has now been taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital

Queues formed around the London Road with two lanes closed on A40 London Road Westbound between Merewood Avenue and A4142 Eastern By-Pass Road.
