A SMALL fire started in the back of a rubbish truck yesterday.
Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service said crews were called at about 8.41am to the blaze at Abingdon Rugby Club, in Lambrick Way.
A spokesman said it started in the hopper at the back of the truck.
Firefighters removed some of the rubbish and put out the fire with hosepipes.
Two fire engines were sent to the club to deal with the incident. No one was hurt.
