ENGINE-revving drivers were threatened with having their cars seized after plaguing villagers in Wootton.

Residents complained about repeated nuisance caused by anti-social groups who congregate at Wootton and Dry Sandford Community Centre, blaring out loud music and screeching down the road at high speeds.

Police community support officer Rich Osborn branded the behaviour "not acceptable" in his June newsletter and warned that the cars could be seized if the drivers were caught again.
