HUNDREDS of people have flocked to the second annual LibFest music festival in Witney this afternoon to honour the late Liberty Baker.
Family and friends of Liberty, who was 14 when she died in a car accident in 2014, are hoping to raise funds for three charities in her memory with today's event.
The forecast had been overcast but dry, but in the past half hour the sky has opened unleashing thunder, rain and hail.
However Liberty's parents Paul and Maureen Baker, pictured here before the downpour, will endeavour to keep a sunny attitude.
They told the Oxford Mail this afternoon their daughter "wouldn't believe it" if she saw how many people were celebrating her life today.
The one-day festival on The Leys park in Witney is due to run all afternoon until 10pm with live music from Payday, Damn Good Reason, Death of Hi Fi and The Standard.
There is also a silent disco, a children's play area and other attractions all to raise funds for Grief Support for Children and Young People in Oxfordshire, Children's Hospice Arts and Thames Valley Air Ambulance.
