At the North Oxford school 92 per cent of pupils hit the expected standard of reading compared to 66 per cent nationally.

In spelling, grammar and punctuation the figure was 89 per cent, in maths 87 per cent and in writing 74 per cent- all above the English average.

The total achieving the expected standard in reading, writing and maths combined was 74 per cent compared to 53 per cent nationally.
