A POLICE helicopter that sparked curiosity and noise complaints last night was circling after an "incident" in Blackbird Leys, according to NPAS Benson.
Residents heard the helicopter hovering between 9pm and 11pm around Cowley, for the second night in a row.

Can we have live feed @TheOxfordMail of what exactly @TVP_Oxford helicopter is doing? Surely publicly accountable? Terrible noise pollution.

After wrapping up the search at about 10pm it shared striking images of Oxford at dusk, taken from the helicopter, including some over the Cowley BMW Mini Plant.
Despite numerous probes from the Oxford Mail, Thames Valley Police's press office failed to shed any light today on why the force enlisted an aerial team.
Spokesman Jack Abell said: "There is nothing in our log relating to the incident."
