The first candidate to contest the vacant Witney seat after David Cameron quit has been announced.
London-born Winston McKenzie, a former professional boxer will fight for the seat when voters take to the polls on October 20.
Mr McKenzie will represent the constituency as a candidate from the English Democrats.
Announcing the news on Twitter he said:
@WinstonMcK Witney!!! is the Championship I am thrilled!! honoured, to say the least, so let's get it on! Champ.😊

Answering a question on the upcoming presidential election the 62-year old gave what may be a tease of his politics if he is to be elected.
He wrote: "@jerdsville Well!,it's odds on Trump will become President, America Really needs change,as we do, a new political Regime must surface, Champ."
Mr McKenzie has at various times been a Labour Party member, a Conservative, a Liberal Democrat and a member of UKIP.
