Images of a man police want to speak to after a large quantity of meat was stolen from a Wolvercote garage have been released.

The force said the man could have information important to its investigation into the theft on Friday, August 19.

At about 1.30pm that day a man entered the BP Express garage in Woodstock Road and took a large quantity of meat.

PC Jonathan Kelly said: "I would like to speak to anyone with any information about this incident or anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area at around the time of the offence.

“I would also like to speak to the man shown in the CCTV image, or anyone who recognises him, as he may have information which could be important to our investigation.”
