MICHELIN star chef Marco Pierre White has announced plans to open a second restaurant in Oxford early next year.
The celebrity chef, who opened Marco's New York Italian in High Street last year, will launch a new steakhouse restaurant in the Jurys Inn hotel.
The 'destination restaurant' for hotel guests and foodies will serve a range of English and French dishes.
The Steakhouse Bar & Grill is set to open early next year.
Mr Pierre White said: "I have always had a fondness for Oxford, and was keen to expand my offering of restaurants here so that diners can experience the Steakhouse Bar & Grill too.
"My restaurants are not stuffy or pretentious; instead they are about enjoying your evening, with excellent food and drink in luxurious, relaxed surroundings and quite simply having a good time."
General manager at the hotel and the new restaurant, Chris Broderick, said: "We are absolutely thrilled to be launching the latest Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill in Oxford, and the spacious newly refurbished hotel showcases the prestigious restaurant beautifully."
