PEOPLE looking to add a personal touch to their festivities were shown how to make their own Christmas decorations.

Karen Holland and Jenny Rainsford delivered their Christmas-themed workshop to a group at Millets Farm Centre, in Frilford, where those taking part had the opportunity to make baubles, trees made from books and paper wreaths.

The pair lead a range of craft workshops around Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire throughout the year and have plans to offer regular workshops at Millets in 2017.

Ms Holland said: “People like handmade things and crafters will have a go at anything. We’ve done a few Christmas workshops making the paper wreaths and they’ve just been so popular.

“We’re just building our profile in Millets at the moment but hope we’ll eventually be able to fill the big room they have for workshops.

"Jenny and I both love crafts but we found to do a workshop and learn new things we had to travel miles, so we started the craft barn. Since then it's just grown and grown."
