TWO flood alerts have been issued for the county after high river levels were recorded.
The Environment Agency has warned that low-level land is at risk of flooding along the River Cherwell, River Thame and Chalgrove Brook.
Land between Lower Heyford and Oxford is included under the River Cherwell alert, while the latter alert covers a stretch between Shillingford and Thame.
Alerts state that houses are not expected to flood and river levels are expected to stabilise within the next 24 hours.
The areas of Heyford Bridge, Thame Bridge, Stadhampton and Dorchester are listed as most vulnerable.
