TRIBUTES have flooded in for a man died after suffering stab wounds in the middle of a Headington street.

Friends and family of Domingos Ramalho have paid their respects to the 35-year-old from Oxford, who was found with stab wounds in Windmill Road, Headington, last Monday afternoon.

Mr Ramalho was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital with life threatening injuries, but died in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Yesterday, tributes continued to be paid to the father-of-two and flowers have been laid in the street where the attack took place.

One friend, Marcia Reis said: “He was an awesome person with such an incredibly personality.

“Domingos was compassionate, a good listener, a loving friend, and a hard working person.

“His willingness to help others, and his down to earth mannerism, made him very approachable.

“I wish strength and courage for his two young children, wife, mother, siblings, family and friends he left behind. Bro, you will never be forgotten.”

Mr Ramalho, known to Adomi from those close to him, worked at Unipart in Garsington for three years before his death.

A work colleague said: “Very sad news, will be missed by so many at Unipart. Rest in peace Dom.”

Friend Alfonso Durante added: “I can’t believe it [that] something so awful could happen to him.

“He was truly a very friendly, helpful colleague and I will miss him dearly. My heart goes to his family.”

Gemma Harris added: “Such a lovely bloke. Not a bad bone in his body and very family orientated.”

Last week, Unipart released a statement giving their condolences to the family. Mr Ramalho’s family said he was a ‘kind, loving and caring man’.

Egidio Da Silva Alves, 27, of The Slade, Oxford, appeared at Oxford Crown Court last Thursday charged with one count of murder and possession of a bladed article.
