A BICESTER man who went missing yesterday has just been found.
Last night police appealed for help to find Peter Kavanagh, 58, who had last been seen at about 4.15pm on Saturday in High Street, Headington.
Investigating officer Sgt Philip Ansell said: “Peter does not know Oxford very well so the fact he is missing in the city is extremely concerning.
“Peter, if you read this appeal please make contact with your family or the police so we know you are safe.”
At 10.30am this morning Thames Valley Police spokeswoman Hannah Jones confirmed Mr Kavanagh had been found safe.
There was a heavy police presence in Headington last night due to concerns for Mr Kavanagh's welfare.
