SHOW your support for Oxford United by sending us pictures of you with your exclusive stickers.

Supporters got their hands on the Oxford Mail's stickers at the Kassam on Saturday before the Yellows' victory over Scunthorpe.

We're now asking our readers to send us photos of them proudly displaying their stickers and supporting the team in the run-up to Wembley, whether they be in your car, on a window at your house or maybe somewhere more creative?

We'll display the pictures you submit to our readers across Oxfordshire and are asking entrants to think outside the box when planning their shot.

Hundreds of the stickers have been produced for fans to proudly display them and back the club ahead of the Checkatrade final against Coventry City on April 2.

They were handed out with match programmes and are also available to pick up at Delteys in Blackbird Leys Road, Blackbird Leys, and Acorn News in St Nicholas Road in Littlemore.

Dad Steve Clarke, from Thame, picked up some of the stickers at the match with sons Ollie, seven, and Sammy, four.

He said: “We got them with the match programme so ended up getting two. We’re debating whether the boys can put them in their room window, or in the car.

"The boys enjoyed the match. They’ve just started to show an interest in Oxford United and wanted to follow some local football.”

Helen Tanner, 39, who went to the Kassam on Saturday with mother June, 66, said she hoped to pick up her own stickers tomorrow and would ‘gladly put one in the back of the car’ before Wembley.

In less than two weeks Michael Appleton’s side, promoted to Sky Bet League One last year, will play their fourth game at the home of football, bringing back memories of the Milk Cup win in 1986, the Blue Square Bet Premier play-off final victory in 2010 and last year’s Johnstone’s Paint Trophy final against Barnsley.

The U’s will be again be cheered on by a huge following, with nearly 25,000 Oxford supporters snapping up tickets.

Sue Trafford, who sells official club merchandise outside the Kassam Stadium on matchdays, said anticipation was building in the countdown to the final.

The Kidlington resident said: “There is a buzz, especially with the (Wembley) merchandise.”

"I’m feeling very excited and on a bit of a high. We haven’t had as long to sell tickets as Coventry, but it’s getting there.”

Nine-year-old Maizie Neal, from Abingdon, picked up her stickers before Saturday’s match.

The youngster will travel to London along with eight other family members who have season tickets.

She said: “I’m feeling really excited for Wembley. I have been a fan since I was little. They have some really good players with good skills.”

Tickets are still available for the Checkatrade final.
