A DEALER who cowered in a secret den as police hunted for drugs blew a kiss to his pregnant wife moments before being whisked to the cells.

Father Radoslaw Marynowski was caught with 619g of amphetamine, worth more than £7,300 if dished out to addicts on the street.

The 36-year-old had no record of offending in the UK but had previous convictions for drug-dealing in his native Poland.

Sentencing yesterday, Judge Ian Pringle QC told Marynowski it was clear he had not learnt his lesson and jailed him for 18 months.

Police stormed Marynowski’s then home in Eton Close Witney, lifting a door in the garage and finding him with a safe within a secret compartment, prosecutor Cathy Olliver told Oxford Crown Court.

A sniffer dog alerted officers, who suspected drugs were concealed in the safe, but Marynowski refused to reveal the code.

Three large boxes containing wraps of off-white powder were uncovered after the safe was forced open.

Deal bags, scales, £4,800 cash and texts on the defendant’s phone revealing he was dealing were also found.

Defence barrister Ronan McCann said Marynowski has been drug free since last year.

Marynowski, now of Laurel Close, Carterton, admitted possessing amphetamine, a class B drug, with intent to supply on December 16 last year.
