The Bridge nightclub in Oxford, where a man was bitten
POLICE have ended a successful CCTV appeal after a man was bitten in the face.
Thames Valley Police appealed for a potential witness earlier this week, following the attack at The Bridge nightclub in Oxford.
It involved a 36-year-old victim who needed surgery after his face was bitten in the Hythe Bridge Street venue, at about 2.20am on Saturday, April 8.
The force said the clubber in the CCTV image has since come forward and thanked members of the public for their help.
A 25-year-old man from Abingdon has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and released under investigation.
