A THIEF snatched a bike in North Oxford after failing to find anything inside a shed.
Someone broke into a shed in First Turn, near Wolvercote Roundabout, but came out empty-handed.
They then cut the chain of a nearby bike and stole that instead.
Police believe the theft happened overnight on May 18, but are unsure how the person managed to get into the shed.
Two nights earlier, a shed in Squitchey Lane in Summertown had its padlock cut, but again nothing was stolen. Police have not suggested the incidents are linked.
