COMMUNITY groups can bid for up to £5,000 in grant funding.

A new £100k pot has been pooled by social enterprise GLL and crowdfunding group Spacehive, and causes within South Oxfordshire of Vale of White Horse districts have been encouraged to apply.

Spacehive enables groups to generate their own funds online, and crowdfunded cash will then be matched by GLL in grants or practical support worth up to £5,000 per project.

Chris Symons, Director of Business Development at GLL said: “We are delighted to be launching the GLL Community Foundation in South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse.

“We are calling on clubs, schools, charities and social enterprises, that are looking to make positive change, to consider the crowdfunding model we have created.”
