DRIVERS are being advised to take an alternative route as a village road closes for carriageway maintenance work.
Cars will be unable to pass through a section of Bampton Road at Curbridge for the duration of the works, which begin on August 4 and are expected to continue for about two weeks.
The traffic order relates to the stretch of the A4095 from its junction with Well Lane southwards to its junction with the unnamed road to Yelford.
