WALLINGFORD and Abingdon clubs shared the spoils at Henley Town and Visitors Regatta.
There were wins in single sculls for Abingdon’s Charlotte Rowley in WJ15 (with clubmate, Leonie Watson, third) and James Sudlow (IM1), while Ross Fergus and Alex Martin won the IM1 double sculls.
And Rowley and Watson teamed up to take the WJ15 doubles.
Wallingford’s success came for Ben Sumner and Richard Mangion in the J15 boys double.
They won the re-row of their final by a length after their first attempt was dead-heated with clubmates Ed DeVetta and Stan Whitty.
Wallingford’s Dan Wilkinson, Oliver Gerrard, Tim Waller and Dave Willcox in the IM1 coxless fours nearly suffered a similar fate but the verdict went in their favour to win by just one foot.
Richard Thwaites, Robert Mason, James Wright, Robert Hines with cox, Paul Alexander, took the IM2 coxed fours with much greater comfort.
