WORK to resurface Sunderland Avenue has already been completed and closures could come to an end tonight.
The project, which also includes relining the lane markings, clearing the drainage system and creating space for a police speed camera van, began at the weekend.
Oxfordshire County Council said work on the North Oxford road could be completed tonight if the weather is good.
Any delays would see workers return on Monday evening.
