WE'VE got the blues this week, as our Camera Club goes to town on the most opened-ended of themes.
Nature has it's fair share of blue shades, and we are fully expecting a flurry soaring panoramic skyscapes, deep pools and rippling streams.
But our ingenious club members, who never fail to impress with their interpretation of our weekly theme, have taken up the mantle to produce some truly compelling images so far this week.
This intriguing close-up from Becca Collacott sees the light bouncing around a bowl of clear marbles shot through with blue, and brings with it a sense of perspective difficult to achieve with a picture taken so close.
We look forward to seeing how other members will take on the 'colour blue' challenge, and as usual, a gallery of some of the best photographs of the week will be published on Friday.
Why not join our Camera Club? You could be in with a chance of winning £25 each week if your picture is chosen by chief photographer Ed Nix for his Saturday pictures of the week gallery.
