A POPULAR wedding venue in a Grade II listed building has asked for permission to build a new pizza kitchen.
Lains Barn near Wantage wants to create the standalone hut in its grounds, where customers would be able to approach from all sides to get freshly-made pizzas.
Architects BHP Harwood said they had designed a structure in oak to ‘celebrate the rural architecture’. Vale of White Horse District Council will judge whether the hut fits the 18th-century barn’s listed status.
