A STALKER who hounded BBC Newsnight presenter Emily Maitlis with letters for 20 years is reportedly back in prison.
Edward Vines, 47, appeared at Oxford Crown Court on Friday after breaching a restraining order which prevented him from contacting the presenter.
Vines, who lived in Grosvenor Road, Oxford before being jailed last year is reported to have sent letters to Ms Maitlis from his prison cell.
He was jailed for three years for breaching the restraining order, which he was first given in 2002 - and on Friday Oxford Crown Court heard he had breached the order again.
They first met when they were at Cambridge University together - he said he was in love with her but she rejected him.
He was remanded in custody to be sentenced on December 19.
