A NEW 30mph speed limited and a toucan crossing will be built on Warwick Road in Banbury after a proposal got a formal go-ahead.
The limit will be enforced on the Stratford Road north of the roundabout with Dukes Meadow Drive and will reduce the speed limit from 40mph.
The move will also include the installation of a toucan crossing on Warwick Road about 30 metres north of the junction with Firtree Close. Oxfordshire County Council said it hopes to provide a safe place for pedestrians and cyclists to cross the road.
