THE 'art of partying' will go under the microscope at an Oxford University lecture tomorrow.
Alice Foster, Art Historian, will give the talk at the Ashmolean Museum on Wednesday 2pm to 4pm.
She will examine depictions of parties from Greek mosaics and Biblical weddings to Renaissance allegories and the celebratory styles of the twentieth-century painters.
The lecture costs £10 for adults and £9 for concessions.
