OXFORD University has announced a new partnership with four German universities, which it will create new initiatives across academic disciplines.
Academics based in the city will be able to develop new research projects and partnerships will link up with others from Berlin universities.
They are: the Freie Universität Berlin, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Technische Universität Berlin, the Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin.
Professor Louise Richardson, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Oxford, said: 'Although the United Kingdom is leaving the European Union, it is not leaving Europe."
