CCTV images have been released after a woman was pushed to the ground when a robber tried to snatch her handbag in East Oxford.
The victim was getting off the number 16 bus on Wednesday, October 4, at about 11.10pm at the junction of Cowley Road and St Nicholas Road, police revealed today.
A man appeared in front of her whilst she was walking along the road and pushed her over, attempting to grab her handbag.
The woman injured her head when she was pushed to the ground.
Police today released CCTV of a man they believe may have witnessed the incident and who may have information to help with the investigation.
Investigating officer, PC Lisa Chapman based at Oxford police station, said: "If anyone recognises this man or has any information relating to this offence, I would ask them to call the Thames Valley Police non-emergency number on 101 quoting reference 43170344613."
