OXFORD MP Layla Moran has claimed it is a ‘scandal’ people are living on the city’s streets as more than 300 homes sit empty.
Ms Moran’s Liberal Democrats found out through Freedom of Information requests that there are 337 unoccupied homes in Oxford City, with some of those stood empty for ten years or more.
But Oxford City Council said that it had cut the number of empty homes by more than a third over the last 10 years and that it was still hoping to reduce that number further.
