A MAN has been arrested after lead was stolen from a Didcot school.
All Saints Church of England (Aided) Primary School was forced to shut for several days in the second week of December, after a spate of five separate lead thefts.
Police announced they have arrested a 30-year-old man from Didcot in relation to one of the thefts, which happened on Saturday, December 16.
He has been released under investigation.
Officers did not state if anyone had been arrested in relation to the other thefts.
The school sent a letter thanking parents for their understanding during the closure, stating it was to ensure children's safety.
