THE death of a former headmistress of a Bicester school is being treated as murder.

Ann Moore-Martin, who was head of St Mary’s Catholic Primary School, died in May last year aged 83 at her home in Maids Moreton, Buckinghamshire.

In October 2015 her neighbour, Peter Farquhar, died and police believed at the time it was due to natural causes.

But Mrs Moore-Martin’s death sparked a police investigation into both deaths and three people have been arrested.

A 27-year-old man from Towcester and a 31-year-old man from Redruth have been arrested on suspicion of two counts of murder.
