POLICE have launched a fresh appeal for information at the site of an Oxford murder after charges were dropped against a man.
New posters have appeared in Friar's Wharf where 16-year-old Harun Jama was fatally stabbed on January 3.
Headlined 'further appeal for information', the boards state that Thames Valley Police is continuing to investigate the killing and have asked anyone who may have been on the towpath that evening to get in touch.
On Monday, following a review of the case by the Crown Prosecution Service, a murder charge was dropped against 33-year-old Oxford man Craig Ford.
Charges of robbery and possessing a bladed article against Mr Ford, of Luther Street, were also discountinued but he remains charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.
