POLICE are warning of a sptate of purse thefts in Abingdon, with a bank card taken from an 83-year-old woman in Waitrose.
CCTV pictures have been released after the pensioner noticed her card had been stolen on Tuesday at about 4.30pm.
It was later used to withdraw cash at an ATM.
Police say they want to speak to the two people pictured, who might have vital information about the incident.
It comes as a warning is issued about a spate of thefts in Abingdon town centre in recent days.

Officers from Thames Vallley Police South Oxon and Vale of White Horse headed to Waitrose today to hand out crime prevention advice.
