UPDATED: Driver dies after crash with HGV
A STRETCH of the A420 was closed for hours yesterday after a lorry and car crashed.
Both sides of the road, a major route in and out of Oxford, were shut at Tubney between Church Road and Abingdon Road.
Thames Valley Police have said a 'difficult recovery' delayed the reopening of the route.

It was the second crash on the A420 in less than 24 hours, after two cars overturned on the road on Wednesday night.
An air ambulance was reported to have landed at the scene of the crash, first reported at 2.50pm.

Traffic backed up on the road and caused knock-on delays on the A338 Oxford Road due to diverted traffic.
Stagecoach has also warned of up to 35 minute delays on its S8 and S9 Wantage services.
