BANBURY MAGISTRATES’

LEON COLE, 20, of Alma Road, Banbury, admitted entering premises at Banbury on February 13 contrary to a closure notice. He was fined £100 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85.

ANDREW STEPHEN, 52, of Balmoral Avenue, Banbury, was convicted of assaulting a woman at Banbury on January 19. He was made subject to a community order to include a rehabilitation activity requirement of 10 days and 150 hours of unpaid work and must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £500.

AIDEN BOOTH. 19, of Orchard Way, Banbury, admitted possessing an offensive weapon - a four inch switch knife at Butchers Row, Banbury, on March 2. He was made subject to a community order to include 100 hours of unpaid work and must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85.

SIAN GRANTHAM, 30, of Bretch Hill, Banbury, admitted stealing three chocolate bars from the Co-Op Rotary Way, Banbury on January 26 as well as a quantity of meat on March 18, two bottles of wine valued at £19.96 on March 24 and three easter eggs valued at £21 on March 17, all from the Co-Op Rotary Way, Banbury. She was jailed for 12 weeks suspended for 12 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £115 and compensation totalling £40.96.

Adam JONES, 29, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted stealing two bottles of Smirnoff Vodka valued at £32 from Tesco Stores, Cowley Road, on March 27 as well as breaching a previously imposed suspended sentence. He was jailed for a total of 16 weeks and must pay a victim surcharge of £115.

MARK MAISEY, 36, of Thorney Leys, Witney, admitted driving above the legal alcohol limit on March 4 at Witney with 63 mcg of alcohol in 100 ml of alcohol. He was fined £600 and must pay a victim surcharge of £60 and court costs of £85 and was disqualified from driving for 17 months.

LEWIS PIZZEY, 20, of Vanner Road, Witney, admitted possessing 16.63g of cannabis at Witney on October 18. He was fined £200 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85.

DANIEL HUNTLEY, 29, of Bucknell Road, Banbury, admitted harassing a woman between November 4 and February 16 at Caversfield, Oxfordshire. He was made subject to a restraining order against his victim and must pay a fine of £667, a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85.

David HATTON, 36, of Jubilee Court, Banbury, admitted stealing electrical items valued at £88 from Sainsbury’s, Bicester, on January 25 as well as breaching a previously imposed suspended sentence. He was jailed for a total of 20 weeks and must pay a victim surcharge of £115.

MATTHEW JOHN DUFF, 28, of Church Lane, Milton, was convicted of speeding at 68mph in a 50mph zone in the A34, Wytham on August 12. Fined £200, £20 victim surcharge, £85 court costs. Three penalty points.

AARON KEVIN GEE, 31, of Turnpike Road, Caversfield, was convicted of speeding at 82mph in a 70mph zone on August 10 on the A34, near Islip. Fined £220, £30 victim surchargem £85 court costs. Three penalty points.

MUHOMMAD IDDRIS, 49, of North Way, Headington, was convicted of speeding at 80mph in a 70mph zone on the A34 near Chieveley on August 10. Fined £100, £30 victim surcharge, £85 court costs. Three penalty points.

JOANNA MARY NAPPER, 27, of Foxglove Lane, West Hagbourne, was convicted of speeding at 61mph in a 50mph zone on the A34, Wytham on August 10. Fined £175, £30 victim surchage, £85 court costs. Three penalty points.

JONATHAN JAMES PRIOR, 41, of Druids Walk, Chinnor was convicted of speeding at 41mph in a 30mph zone on the B4011, Oakley on August 10. Fined £440, victim surcharge £44, court costs £85. Four penalty points.

BETHANY WARD-REEDS, 25, of Canning Crescent, Oxford, was convicted of speeding at 48mph in a 30mph zone in the A4074 at Warborough on August 8. Fined £100, £30 victim surcharge, £85 court costs. Three penalty points.

DAVID JOHN BROOKS, 36, of no fixed address, admitted assaulting a woman by beating her in Cowley Road, Littlemore on March 10 and in Lansdowne Road, Dry Sandford on March 11 and assaulting a man by beating him in Lansdowne Road, Dry Sandford on March 11. 16 weeks in prison, suspended for 18 months. Restraining order and £50 compensation.

ANDRE BERLEY, 30, of Sandy Lane, Oxford admitted harassment without violence of two women between February 2 and March 5. 12 weeks in prison, suspended for 18 months. Restraining order and £115 victim surcharge.

DAVID SMITH, 54, of Court Road, admitted committing fraud after he charged £5650 for work performed to a driveway, roof, guttering, fencing and front and rear garden when the total value was less in Littlemore between September, 12, 2016 and October, 12, 2016. 24 weeks in prison, suspended for 12 months. £3,000 compensation, £1,000 court costs.

JASON WILLIAMS EDMUNDS, 22, of Homestead Road, Banbury, admitted travelling on the railway at Bicester North station without having paid the fare. Fined £100, £5 compensation, £30 victim surcharge, £50 court costs.

AIVARAS MAJAUSKA, 27, of Portway, Didcot, admitted registering a vehicle that did not meet insurance requirements on May 26. Fined £150, £30 victim surcharge, £85 court costs.

JACK LOUIS CARVELL, 26, of Broad Street, Abingdon was convicted of driving without insurance in Botley Road, Oxford on October 26. Fined £334, £33 victim surcharge, £85 court costs. Six penalty points.
