Oxfordshire County Council expects closures to start at 8pm and last until 6am tomorrow, and again at the same times every night until next Monday.
Banbury Road will be shut from St Giles to the Bevington Road junction.
Parks Road will close between Keble Road and Banbury Road, and Norham Gardens between Parks Road and Bradmore Road.
Visit roadworks.org for details of diversions.
