THE historic city streets were again filled with the sound of folk music for the seventh annual Folk Weekend: Oxford.
The three-day event saw dozens of musical performances at various venues city-wide including Morris Dancers pictured here at the Ashmolean Museum.
Festival director Cat Kelly praised the strong turnout and said: βIt went brilliantly and the weather certainly helped.
"The festival is more than just about the past, it is about the community. Folk music has always been the music of the people.β
The popular event will not return next year to give organisers a break, she added, but is expected to be back in 2020.
