ALEXANDER McCall Smith, one of the world’s most popular authors, is to visit Blackwell’s Westgate store.
He will be at the bookshop on Wednesday, May 30 from 7pm to 8pm.
The evening will celebrate 20 years of the No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency series.
The author will speak about the series and his other novels, including those from the 44 Scotland Street series.
Mr McCall Smith’s books have been translated into 46 languages.
Tickets for the event cost £6.90.
