YOUNGSTERS at the Christ Church Cathedral School in Oxford held their own Royal wedding celebrations this week featuring crowns and cream teas.
The school in Brewer Street hosted its ‘High Tea and Royal wedding After-Party’ to mark the marriage of the new Duke and Duchess of Sussex, while also raising funds for the school’s chosen charity, The Guide Dogs for the Blind.
Children were invited to design their own crowns and dress up as princes and princesses for a parade and ‘Crown Competition’ on the games field.
Adults were also invited to attend wearing their finest wedding regalia, making the event a right Royal affair.
The fundraiser also included a catwalk of wedding finery, musical performances by choir and brass band, creams teas and a raffle.
Funds were raised through ticket and raffle sales.
Millions watched as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were married at a ceremony at Windsor Castle last Saturday.
