WITNEY was awash with the colour blue throughout last week as a series of events raised awareness of dementia.
Residents and business owners throughout the town got into the spirit and used blue shopfronts and clothing to promote the campaign led by Witney Dementia Action Alliance.
As well as turning blue, a number of events were held throughout the week, including a Golden Memories Tea Dance and Golden Memory Walk.
Organiser Suzi Morgan said: “Thank you so much to everyone who gave support. It was a wonderful week for raising awareness, taking action and raising funds.
“We would like to thank every organisation that supported our efforts by turning blue, hosting an event or donating. We would also like to thank this year’s sponsors – Witney Town Council, Witney Rotary Club and Richmond Village Witney.”
