A BANQUET of Syrian food will be laid out for a community feast in Oxford today.
The Summer Syrian Banquet will be hosted at Rose Hill Community Centre this afternoon, and members of the public are invited to enjoy the vegetarian food for a £4 donation.
Student Action for Refugees Oxford and city councillor Shaista Aziz co-organised the event, which runs from 1.30pm-3:30pm to coincide with National Refugee Week.
Food will be prepared by the Syrian Sisters and there will also be music and short talks.
