A RESIDENT was saved from a kitchen fire by their carer this morning.
The carer was alerted to the incident by a smoke alarm and assisted the resident into the property's garden in Abingdon.
Crews were on the scene within minutes to put out the fire, which was thought to be caused by consumable items next to a boiler.
