A MAN charged after a failed bid to steal an ATM from Watlington’s Co-Op store has made his first appearance at court.
Danny O’Loughlin, of Waterloo Street in Cheltenham, is charged with one count of burglary other than in a dwelling, one count of driving a motor vehicle dangerously, one count of aggravated vehicle taking and one of driving without insurance.
The 20-year old appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court yesterday in connection with the Thursday incident which saw police make the arrest after a pursuit across two counties.
No pleas were entered. He is now due to appear at Oxford Crown Court on July 20.
