BANBURY MAGISTRATES

NICOLE SMITH, 37, of Manston Close, Bicester, admitted assaulting a constable in the execution of their duty on May 6 at Banbury police station. She must pay compensation of £50.

SARAH MILLER, 31, of no fixed abode, admitted stealing alcohol to a value unknown from the Co-Op, Banbury, on March 28 and March 11 as well as meat to the value unknown from the Co-Op, Banbury, on March 11 and March 13 and alcohol to a value unknown from Acorn stores, Banbury, on March 19. She also admitted being drunk and disorderly at Banbury on April 2. She was made subject to a community order to include a drug rehabilitation requirement for nine months and 35 days rehabilitation activity requirement and must pay a fine of £35 and a victim surcharge of £85.

CHRISTOPHER SINCLAIR, 53, of Somerton Road, Upper Heyford, admitted stealing three bottles of champagne from Sainsbury’s, Bicester, on January 19 and alcohol valued at £149 from Sainsbury’s, Bicester, on February 7. He was jailed for seven days and must pay compensation totalling £284 and a victim surcharge of £115.

MOHAMMAD KHAN, 30, of Parsons Street, Banbury, was convicted of driving in a pedestrianised area at Banbury Town Centre on November 30. He was fined £200 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £620.

APRIL SETTERFIELD, 25, of Laurel Close, Carterton, admitted driving above the legal alcohol limit on April 6 at Carterton. Had 89 mcg of alcohol in 100 ml of breath. She was fined £120 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and was disqualified from driving for 15 months.

DAVID MARCHANT, 47, of Heather Close, Carterton, admitted driving whilst disqualified and without third party insurance as well as failing to provide a specimen for analysis on June 6 at Carterton. He was jailed for a total of 26 weeks and must pay a victim surcharge of £115 and his driving disqualification was extended to account for his jail term.

GAVIN WILLIAM ROBERT MINNS, 40, of no fixed abode, admitted to stealing bedding valued at £180 from Dunelm Store in Lamarsh Road, Botley, Oxford, on April 26; stealing bedding of an unknown value from Dunelm Store in Lamarsh Road on April 8; stealing bedding of an unknown value from Dunelm Store in Lamarsh Road on February 2; stealing groceries valued at £179.75 from Tesco in Cowley Road, Oxford, on March 19; stealing groceries valued at £85.20 from Tesco in Cowley Road on March 31; stealing bedding valued at £180 from Dunelm Store in Lamarsh Road on April 9; Stealing bedding valued at £180 from Dunelm Store in Lamarsh Road on April 22. Compensation £804.95.

SIMON PAUL CURRY, 34, of Gardiner Street, Headington, admitted to threatening a woman by sending her a series of messages and using threatening and intimidatory behaviour towards her between January 31 and April 26.Treatment for alcohol dependency. Restraining order preventing contact with victim. Victim surcharge £85 and £85 costs.

ANDRZEJ TRUSZKOWSKI, 41, of Broadway, Didcot, admitted to damaging a bedroom window of an unknown value and assaulting a woman by beating her in Didcot on April 8. Fined £276, compensation £100, victim surcharge £30 and costs £85.

ALAN GEORGE GOODMAN, 35, of Bridge Close, Didcot, admitted to stealing a bike valued at £3,300 from Bike Zone in St Michael's Street, Oxford, on February 14. Prison sentence of three months suspended for two years. Compensation £500.

ALAN JONES, 61, of Augustine Way, Thame, was convicted of drink driving on Rycote Lane, Thame, with 47mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, exceeding the 35mcg limit, on May 3. Fined £120, victim surcharge £30 and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 12 months.

FAHMI SAFA, 24, of Leon Close, Oxford, was convicted of driving in Marston Road, Oxford, without due care and attention on September 13. Fined £120, victim surcharge £30 and costs £85. Eight penalty points.

ELLIS CAPEL, 46, of no fixed abode, admitted to using threatening words or behaviour in Suffolk House, Banbury Road, on May 4, Fined £50 and victim surcharge £30.

STEVEN PAUL FAWCETT, 35, of Luther Street, Oxford, was convicted of assaulting a man and stealing a bottle of Jack Daniels and a The Kraken Spiced Rum in Sainsbury's, in the Westgate Centre, Oxford, on April 27; and failing to attend magistrates' court on May 21. Compensation £88.50 and fined £75.

THOMAS ELDON KIMBER, 28, of Cedar Road, Oxford, was convicted of drink driving in Sunderland Avenue, Oxford, with 54mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, exceeding the 35mcg limit, on May 6. Fined £600, victim surcahrge £60 and costs £85. Banned from driving for 14 months.

GARY FRANCIS PEIRCE, 40, of Hamble Drive, Abingdon, admitted using violence to enter a property in Hamble Drive on May 19; and being drunk and disorderly in ISIS Close, Abingdon, a public place, on May 20. Jailed for eight weeks. Restraining order preventing access to property. Victim surcharge £115.

RUI DIOGO MENDONCA SILVA, 30, of Ridgefield Road, Oxford, admitted to damaging a door mirror on a VW Golf valued at £200 assaulting a man by beating him on May 5. 200 hours of unpaid work. Compensation £275.

AARON MITCHELL JOHNSON, 29, of Divinity Road, Oxford, admitted to assaulting a police constable in the execution of their duty in Park End Place, Oxford, on March 24. Compensation £300 and costs £250.
