ENQUIRIES are continuing into allegations made by and against a newly elected city councillor, police have said.
Shaista Aziz, was elected as the Rose Hill and Iffley city councillor, on May 4.
She alleged she was a victim of racial abuse by a supporter of another party involved in the city council elections.
Ms Aziz is being investigated herself over whether she broke electoral law after she retweeted an internet page which referred to her as a councillor before her election.
Thames Valley Police said all inquiries were ongoing.
