AN ARGUMENT in a pub led to a man being sent to hospital for five stitches in his head.

The two men were rowing next to a Volkswagen Caddy parked near the Penny Black pub in Sheep Street, Bicester, shorlty after 7.30pm on Monday.

As the argument became heated, one man received a cut to the back of his head.

Police did not provide any details about how the injury was sustained. The Oxford Mail has asked for clarification. 

The victim was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, where he received five stitches to his head before being discharged.

A 33-year-old man from Bolton was arrested but has since been released under investigation. 

The person police are seeking is as a white man, about 5ft 10ins, aged in his early thirties with short dark hair and slim. He was wearing a red t-shirt with the word dragon on the front in black, grey tracksuit bottoms and old trainers.
