A MAN was punched so hard in the face in an unprovoked attack in Oxford centre, that he needed hospital treatment for jaw fractures.
The victim, a 24-year-old man, was walking along St Ebbes at around 4.15am on Sunday, June 24, when he was approached by a man who punched him in the face.
The offender then fled the scene on foot along St Ebbes Street onto Littlegate Street.
The punch was so hard that the victim was left with fractures to his jaw, and was taken to hospital for treatment.
A CCTV image of a man police want to speak to in connection with the incident have now been released nearly two months after the attack.

“As part of our ongoing investigation, we would like to trace the man shown in the CCTV image as he may have significant information which could assist our investigation.”
